Friday 10th October 2025
3.45 pm - 5.00 pm

Julian Blackhirst, Head of Gardens at the Diggers Club believes that there is a garden in the mind. The Mundus Imaginalis, the imaginal world or the world of ideas informs Julian’s gardening practice. His approach to gardening is a combination of human imagination with the magic of nature.
Join him as he explores the concept of the flow of ideas between us and nature. When a garden dies back, our experience of that garden disappears into our memory and into the earth.
