Achillea

A feature in our perennial borders, the flat topped flowers of Achillea (also known as yarrow) have a see-through quality and a horizontal flowering plane that contrasts beautifully with clumping and vertical shapes. Low growing ferny foliage takes up minimal space, but forms a secure base for a mass of flower colour. The mainstay of the most memorable summer borders. Cut back to induce repeat flowering.
