SAVE A SEED

Have a family heirloom that you wish to preserve?

Many of the seeds that have been saved and preserved over the years have been generously donated by our members and have incredible stories behind them. If you have a treasured seed that has been passed down to your family that you would like us to preserve, please get in touch with us!

Just some of the seeds we have rescued over the years from donations include Tomato 'Nonno's Italian Pear' which was brought to Australia from Calabria in 1928, and shared by Mike Tedesco, Pea 'Franks' an 1853 Australian heirloom donated by May Barnes and Broad Bean 'Crimson Flowered' which was recovered from pure seeds sourced from Norfolk Island where it was originally planted by convicts in 1778.
