Olives provide shade in even the most inhospitable conditions. The form of the tree is beautiful and with their elongated grey-green leaves, tinted silver beneath, they are stunning when grown as a specimen tree or as a handsome hedge. They are extremely long-lived and the fruit is wonderful used for oil and pickling.
