Join the heirloom revolution! Celebrate our homegrown harvest at Heronswood, the home of heirloom seeds and learn about the heirlooms we have helped to preserve by sowing, growing, and saving seeds.
The Harvest Festival is a celebration of our summer harvest.
- Join celebrity gardening hosts; Farm My School, Penny Woodward, and Diggers Horticulturists for free workshops and tastings.
- Tour our vegetable and beautiful flower gardens that showcase our perennial combinations.
- Bring your kids for fun garden activities including a pollinator treasure hunt.
- Talk to our experts with any gardening queries.
- Enjoy lunch on the pool lawn, with our fresh seasonal menu.
We have lots of great activities planned, for the whole family to enjoy. Come & join the fun!
Free entry for Diggers members and children 16yrs and under. Non-members are required to pay the $15 garden entry free.

Learn all the expert tips and tricks from Diggers horticulturist and including Farm My School and Penny Woodward.
Farm My School
Established by skilled and passionate individuals, Farm My School is a not-for-profit association, working to transform unused land within schools, into regenerative market gardens providing food to the local community.
Penny Woodward
Penny is a dedicated organic gardener with a degree in botany and zoology. She is the author or co-author of 8 gardening books, including the award-winning ‘Garlic, an organic guide to knowing, sowing and using garlic’ and multi-award winning ‘Tomato – know sow grow feast’.
Tours of the Heronswood garden will be run twice a day with one of our Diggers horticulturists.

A delicious seasonal menu is available for purchase. Enjoy eating your lunch on the pool lawn.

• Mt Zero Olive tastings and olive products to purchase.
Terms and Conditions
• Little Diggers program is for aimed for children ages 6+yrs and up. Each child is to have one parent to attend with them.
• Car-parking: There is limited parking at Heronswood. We will provide over-flow parking with parking attendants to help facilitate parking and provide directions.
• Coffee, drink, and lunch purchases can be made directly at the café, located adjacent to the retail nursery.
• We will have our roaming videographer and photographer capturing footage of the event. If you do not wish to be filmed, please notify them on the day.
