Fast, fun and easy to grow, sprouts and microgreens are a powerhouse of nutrients and a versatile addition to your kitchen garden. 

We are all looking for additional ways to put nutritious food on the table, and sprouts are a great way to grow your own food fast! Not only do they grow in as little as a week, sprouts are also superfoods because they contain all the nutrients required to grow for the first couple of weeks of that seeds life. Almost all edible seedlings make great sprouts, but some are better than others. Broccoli and radish are popular vegetables which grow readily as sprouts, or you can try the traditional sprouts like alfalfa or mung beans. 

Some offer other benefits too, like fenugreek which is reported to be great for everything from weightloss and hot flushes, through to diabetes. It’s nice on top of curries too!

Perfect for window sills and the side of your kitchen sink, these year-round greens are suited to gardeners of all ages and kitchens of all sizes.
