Definitely our most beautiful pea, the pretty pink flowers are followed by dark bluish-purple pods that conceal the bright green, plump peas. Also known as Capucijner peas, these are a favourite amongst the Dutch. Believed to have been grown by Capuchin monks in the 16th century these are the best variety for drying and using in soups or for any recipe requiring marow fat peas. Yields 280g per plant.
