Thyme
The most commonly used kitchen herb, thyme is a staple for any herb garden. Easy to grow in dry and sunny spots, thyme forms a dense weed-suppressing ground cover that has a delicate and attractive flower from spring into early autumn.
A low-maintenance, easy-to-grow, spreading ground cover. Cut back after flowering or when plants become woody to encourage compact, fresh, new growth. Mulch with aged compost in spring.
