White Tea Plant
Why not make a brew of your own organic tea? Pick the tips of the shoots to make a cuppa then sit and admire this glossy-leaved evergreen shrub with its beautiful white flowers. Plant as a low growing hedge and keep clipped to 1m for maximum harvest. Plant in part shade in hot dry areas.
Camellias prefer a moist, deep, humus rich soil with an acidic soil pH between 5.5 and 6.6. Position in partial shade with shelter from drying winds. Fertilise in spring with a balanced complete fertiliser. Tip prune young plants to encourage bushy growth. Tolerates pruning and performs well as a hedge.
