Known as Tree Lucerne, this leguminous tree produces green foliage that is high in protein, even during summers with minimal rainfall. A fast growing, drought tolerant, evergreen tree, with a deep taproot that can access subsoil moisture, even in dry summers. An attractive shade tree which can be grown as a hedge or windbreak, fragrant white flowers appear in late winter and spring and are a magnet for bees. Note: This packet of seeds includes inoculant to further improve soils.
