Hylotelephium telephium ssp. Ruprechtii

This compact, clump forming sedum has fleshy grey-purple leaves flushed with pink. The pink flower buds open into clusters of creamy-yellow flowers through late summer, maturing to reddish-brown seed heads. Sun loving and drought tolerant.

Sedum ruprechtii

A stand out performer in Beth Chatto's gravel garden this superb little sedum delights with tiny pink buds which open into creamy yellow flowers. An unusual cut flower, and also attractive to butterflies.
How to grow

Drought tolerant, easy to grow in average, dry to medium, well-drained soils in full sun. Thrives in sandy to gravelly soils of moderate to low fertility.
