Unusual pineapple flowers top off deep purple foliage. A fantastic plant for impact and structure in the garden. Dormant in winter. Flowers in its second year.
How to grow
An easy to grow deciduous bulb, plant in full sun for maximum colour. Tolerant of part shade and dry conditions, water is beneficial during hot weather and extended dry periods. Remove spent flowers to prolong flowering.
