Pratia pedunculata 'County Park'
Pratia is a dense low-spreading evergreen ground cover. The small round leaves are covered by small deep blue star-shaped flowers from spring through to summer. Strong spreading habit making it a great plant for heavy foot traffic and can be used on pathways. Growing tightly along the ground it can spread up to 50cm. It tolerates full sun and part shade.
This is a hardy little Australian native ground cover that is extremely tolerant of heavy frost, a flat grower that is a great weed suppressor and is also helpful with erosion control. Grows best in moist, well-drained soil with additional watering through hot periods.
