How to grow
Performs best in full sun in moderately fertile to humus fertile, free-draining soil, but adaptable to a variety of conditions. Drought, heat, coast and frost tolerant once established. Flower spires may be left over winter for their interesting seedheads. In mid-spring shorten any damaged or weak stems, cutting back to just above the base.
