Peach 'Golden Queen'

Prunus persica

Golden Queen is the best variety for preserving and canning. Looking more like an apricot than a peach the rich golden flesh is firm and sweet and is equally delicious whether eaten fresh or preserved. Fruit ripens later than most other varieties so it is a good peach to plant to extend harvesting. Clingstone variety.
