Pea 'Tom Thumb' (Organic)

An 1850s heirloom pea that is small in size but not in flavour. This dwarf bush to 20-30cm produces full sized peas suitable for shelling, or eating whole while young. Perfect for pots, containers or where space is at a premium, this easy to grow pea grows well in even the coldest Aussie climates. Harvest from 50-60 days. Height to 30cm
How to grow

Sow seed to a depth of 2.5cm in a well prepared soil or premium potting mix. Seed should germinate within 7-14 days. Water regularly. Sow new seed every 3 weeks to extend your season. Harvest when plump and blanch and freeze to preserve for use throughout the year - or better yet, serve them fresh from garden to table.
