An open-pollinated frilly purple kale with highly ornamental and nutritious leaves. Best grown in areas of frost for improved flavour and colour, pick while young as a salad leaf or use in cooking when plants mature. Pick outer leaves first to extend your season. Harvest in 55-65 days.
Plant in a fertile, moist soil. Kale grows best during the cooler months when there are fewer white cabbage butterflies around at that time. Harvest the outer leaves regularly to extend your harvest.
