How to grow
Sow seeds in spring to autumn in warmer regions, or early spring in cooler areas. Sow directly where they are to grow or raise in trays and transplant carefully to avoid root disturbance. Plant in full sun and well-drained soil enriched with compost. Space 45–60 cm apart for airflow. Water regularly while establishing, then only during dry spells. Stake tall flower spikes in exposed or windy sites. Remove spent stems after flowering to keep plants tidy.
