Strawflower Tom Thumb Mix

A native Australian flower that was introduced to Europe way back in 1799 making it a true old-fashioned heirloom! These Everlastings (aka Strawflower) are as popular today as they were 200 years ago. We grew them in our trials last year and had a continuous supply of long lasting cut flowers in gorgeous pastel shades from four months. Dry the flowers for even longer beauty.
How to grow

Strawflower needs light to germinate. Do not bury, instead sow on the soil surface and cover with a fine dusting of soil. Water to initiate germination. Protect from snails and slugs.
