An outstanding selection from the Diggers 2020 Flower Trials at Heronswood. The copper orange flowers glow red and warm both in the garden and as a cut flower. A long-lasting hardy annual paper daisy that will brighten cut flower, perennial or dry gardens alike. Helichrysum flowers have been an outstanding selection from the 2020 Diggers Flower Trials and can be grown in a variety of garden situations, including flower meadows. A long flowering performer and excellent cut flower, it is the ultimate dried flower which holds its glowing colour for a stunning and long-lasting display.

Tip pruning when Helichrysum plants are approx. 20cm will encourage more flower stems. Regularly deadhead to encourage repeat flowering throughout the summer season. To dry the flower, harvest soon after the flower opens, remove excess foliage and hang upside down in a well-ventilated position out of direct sunlight.
