Freesia 'Blue'
This charming herbaceous perennial grows to around 30cm and produces racemes of slightly fragrant, trumpet-shaped flowers in captivating shades of blue from late winter through spring. Offering excellent value, these easy-care bulbs are perfect for mass planting, cutting for vases, garden beds or beneath deciduous trees. They also perform wonderfully in containers, making them a versatile addition to any garden.
Plant pointy end upward at a depth of 5cm in autumn. Water at planting. Cut flowers for the vase or enjoy their perfume while out in the garden. Allow foliage to die down before digging corms up or leave in situ to flower the following year. NOTE: Some freesia varieties can become weedy in certain areas. Please avoid planting near bushland.
