Dwarf Plectranthus Argentatus
A compact cultivar of Plectranthus Argentatus. A hardy evergreen shrub with velvety silver leaves. A useful heat and dry tolerant understory plant for shade or sun, thriving beneath trees in tough, competitive conditions. Spikes of white flowers on mauve stems rise above the foliage in autumn. An ideal plant to fill bare patches or add a silver highlight to dull, forgotten areas. One of the few silver-leafed plants that will grow in shade.
Prefers full or part shade and free-draining soil, but also performs in full sun. drought-tolerant and copes with light frost once established. Trim off flower sprays after summer flowering. Hard prune every couple of years to maintain shape and rejuvenate.
