Cucumber 'Lemon'
Introduced as a novelty plant in the USA in the late 1800's Lemon Cucumber quickly gained popularity for it's crisp lemon flavour and thin skin that has none of the bitterness often associated with the thick green skinned varieties. It is also reputedly mroe resistant to fungal diseases than other cucumbers making it a good choice for areas with humid summers.
