Clematis 'Chalcedony'
Pale blue double flowers approximately 12-20cm across. Medium growing deciduous climber to 2.4 -3 metres. Flowers spring to autumn. Flowers on both the previous season’s growth and the new season's growth.
They generally like a light prune in winter to take growth back to strong set of buds. After first flowering a good prune will get the plants ready for summer flowering. It thrives in well drained, fertile soils with neutral to slightly acidic PH and prefers locations with good light exposure. Avoid root disturbance when planting out.
