"Produces very large, medium-blue fruit flushed red around the stem with a distinct, tangy flavour. Heavy yields of big, attractive berries makes this high chill, highbush variety very popular with home gardeners. Self pollinating but Blue Rose and Reka may improve fruit set."
"High chill variety. Blueberries prefer an acidic soil with a pH of 4.5-5.5. Improve soils prior to planting with decomposed manure and compost. This is especially important in clay soils as blueberries prefer a free-draining soil high in organic matter. Check your pH and if you need to lower it further apply elemental sulphur. Plant in a sunny position protected from wind. Mulch with pine needles. Apply a complete fertiliser in spring. While tolerant of part shade, full sun is required for optimal fruiting. Self pollinating but may increase fruit set with Blue Rose or Reka."
