Plant in autumn for colour from early spring. Corms are like dried roots rather than a traditional bulb, so plant pointy end down so that the top growth can shoot straight up through the soil. Water while active but allow to dry out while dormant. Wait until the foliage has died down before pruning to the ground. Corms can be left in situ for flowering the following year. Fertilise in early spring and again in summer to ensure maximum performance, year after year.
