Known by several names including Round-Headed Leek, the Drumstick Allium is undeniably a standout in the garden. Ideal for cottage gardens and in perennial plantings where the upright stems to 60cm weave among surrounding plants to display their prominent vibrant balls of colour which change from emerald green to pink, purple then burgundy.
Plant in autumn for colour in late spring and summer. Plant in groups of at least 20 for maximum impact. Suitable as a cut flower.
