Visit The Diggers Club at Melbourne International Flower and Garden Show. Together, we’re growing a richer food future for Australia.
From 25 – 29 March, The Diggers Club will be at the Melbourne International Flower and Garden Show, where our space comes to life as a shifting garden tapestry inspired by the show’s Kaleidoscope theme, bringing ornamentals and food plants together in a mosaic of colour and texture.
We’re creating a space to explore what it means to see seed not as a commodity, but as a legacy - our common horticultural heritage, open-pollinated, publicly owned, and kept alive by people who grow.
It’s an exploration of what it truly means to Grow the Good Stuff - and how what we plant shapes Australia’s food landscape and nourishes our families and communities.
Whether you’re a long-time member, a first-time visitor, or simply curious about growing food at home, we’d love you to join the conversation.
From Wednesday 29th March to Sunday 2nd April come along and enjoy:
- Join us for a live broadcast of Gardening Club, direct from the Melbourne International Flower & Garden Show
- Free garden workshops, demonstration sessions and advice from our Diggers experts every day from 10am-3pm
- A spectacular display of heirloom annual and perennial flowers
- Rare and unusual food plants for home gardeners
- Summer mini-plot Foodcube demonstration planted out with a selection of warm season crops
- Show specials for Diggers members!
The Melbourne International Flower & Garden Show is a ticketed event. Purchase your own show ticket to attend.
Once inside the show, visit us at The Diggers Club display, let us know you’re a member, connect with our team, and take part in the broader conversation about growing a richer food future.
You can find us at site B48 on Wednesday and Thursday 9am - 5pm, Friday and Saturday 10am - 9.30pm and Sunday 10am - 5pm.

Seed is a legacy, not a commodity. It’s our common horticultural heritage - open pollinated, publicly owned, and kept alive by people who grow.
For hundreds of years, gardeners have selected, grown and saved seed, each season adding to a living tradition that shapes the food we’re able to feed our families and communities.
Through millions of small acts in gardens across the country, we protect rare varieties, adapt seed to local conditions, and pass knowledge from one gardener to the next - becoming part of a living, growing collection of seeds, stories and knowledge, kept in the hands of gardeners.
In this session, we discuss what it means to be a custodian of this living culture.
