How to attract earthworms to your soil

To encourage earthworms to your soil, add organic matter to the soil surface, in the form of mulch or compost, and avoid digging. They’ll do the rest.

Soils can be loosened to let air and water in, by renovating with a fork - opening the soil up, but only turn the top few centimetres. This encourages natural soil building processes.
