Buttery yellow and peach flowers hang like lanterns amongst the vibrant green foliage of this attractive shrub from spring to autumn. A more compact variety of Chinese lantern. Prefers partial shade in warmer climates and is drought and heat tolerant once established. Growing to 1.5m wide and 1.5m in height, this variety adds colour and structure to the garden year-round while also attracting birds and other pollinators.
Plant in rich, well-drained soil in a partially shaded position. Prune in late winter to promote new growth and maintain shape. Drought tolerant once established.
