St Erth Fork to Fork Cafe

St Erth's Fork to Fork Café in Blackwood, near Daylesford, is one of the best locations for lunch, and morning or afternoon tea, in the local area.

- - - - -

The Garden of St Erth is the perfect destination for a day trip. Stroll through the gorgeous and inspirational gardens, stock up on rare heirloom plants then head to the café for a cuppa with scones or indulge in a leisurely lunch.

With a continued fresh food focus, our seasonal menu sources ingredients from local producers including Istra (sausages and smallgoods), Tuki (trout) & Meredith Dairy (specialty cheeses), and of course freshly harvested vegetables, herbs and fruit from the garden. Dishes include a seasonal vegetable platter with hummus, beetroot labne and chevre, pork and fennel sausages with house made relish and coleslaw or a spicy Middle Eastern tagine.

Freshly baked scones and cakes are always popular for morning and afternoon tea.

What's on the menu

The kitchen garden is very productive over summer with heirloom carrots, beetroot, tomatoes, lettuce, Five Colour silverbeet, asparagus, Tuscan kale, rocket, rhubarb and herbs all being used in the cafe at the moment.

Possibly one of the most valuable of summer flowering plants. This beauty from Brazil threads its stiffly upright stems through other perennials, floating hundreds of amethyst hemispheres of bloom.
