Melbourne International Flower & Garden Show

‘What’s old is new’ ... sustainable living made easier!

The Diggers Club has teamed up with The Sustainable Landscape Company, creators of the recently launched Melbourne Skyfarm (pictured below), to design and build a display garden that showcases the flavour, productivity, and history of heirloom vegetables in a whole new food growing system.

Using advanced wicking bed Biofilta Foodcubes, the 2022 display garden will combine the best traditions of generations-old vegetable varieties with state-of-the-art urban food-growing technology, turning cities into urban farms.

From Wednesday 30 March to Sunday 3 April come along and enjoy:

  • Listen to our Diggers experts on centre stage every day at 2.30pm
  • Free garden workshops, demonstration sessions and advice from our Diggers experts every day
  • A spectacular display of heirloom annual and perennial flowers
  • Rare and unusual food plants for home gardeners
  • 30 Foodcubes planted out with heirloom vegetables and flowers
  • Show specials for Diggers members!

You can find us at site 48 between 9am - 5pm and Friday 9am - 9pm.
