Ingredients
- 2 cups brown sugar
- 2 cups almond meal
- 1/2 cup pine nuts
- 1/3 tsp cinnamon
- 1/2cup Nuttelex
Method
- Preheat oven to 165 Celsius.
- Combine dry ingredients to make crumble component & melt Nuttelex through.
- Combine the following ingredients in a bowl:
- 4 cups chopped rhubarb
- 1 cup currants
- 1/2 cup sugar - Layer half the crumble mix on a greased baking dish, add rhubarb mix, and top with remaining crumble. Bake for 30 mins or until golden.
- Serve with your choice of custard, cream or anglaise.
