Seed Potato 'Ruby Lou'

Ruby Lou is a locally bred Victorian potato producing attractive oval tubers with smooth pink skin and creamy white flesh. A versatile all-round variety, it is ideal for boiling, mashing, roasting, frying or adding to fresh salads and also makes wonderfully crisp chips. Ruby Lou is an indeterminate variety, so as plants grow cover around 70% of the stems with straw or compost to encourage a larger harvest. Easy to grow in garden beds and raised planters, potatoes are typically ready to harvest in around 110–130 days.
