Herbal Honey

Workshop at The Garden of St Erth

About this experience

Join herbalist and gardener Caroline Parker for a morning of hands-on, herbal exploration focused on the medicinal properties of herbal infused honey. This engaging workshop invites you to explore traditional herbal remedies made using honey as a base, including oxymels, electuaries, and pillules. These remedies are not only effective but also delicious, and can be easily created using ingredients commonly found in your home and garden.

Throughout the session, you will learn about the medicinal qualities of both honey and vinegar, discover the healing properties of seasonal herbs gathered from the beautiful gardens of St Erth, and explore a range of honey infusion methods. Caroline will share simple, adaptable recipes that you can confidently customise and recreate at home.

The morning also offers time to relax and connect, with endless cups of tea and botanical-inspired snacks to enjoy. You will leave with your own handmade herbal oxymel, along with all materials and detailed notes to support your continued herbal practice.
