Hellebore 'Double Apricot Peach'
A winter gem with exquisite double flowers in warm apricot and peach tones, sometimes brushed with soft pink or deep veining. Flowering from late winter to early spring, it brightens shady corners when little else is in bloom. Hardy and long-lived, this evergreen perennial thrives in rich, well-drained soil and dappled shade, making it perfect for woodland gardens, underplanting trees, or pots. Low maintenance, drought-tolerant once established, and unbothered by deer, it’s a must-have for a vibrant winter display.
How to grow
Hellebores are resilient garden plants and are best grown in the ground. Plant in part shade and water regularly during dry periods and establishment. Remove old foliage when new growth appears in autumn. Apply a mulch of well-rotted manure or quality compost at this time too. Watch for aphids and spray if necessary. Deadhead spent flowers to encourage increased flowering.
