Anemone 'Queen Charlotte'
The large rose-pink flowers and tough resilient nature of this semi-double flowering form of anemone, make it a versatile addition to ornamental plantings in all conditions, including coastal. Known fondly as ‘windflowers’, this vigorous autumn-flowering perennial thrives in areas of shade and moisture. Plant in drifts under deciduous trees for maximum impact.
Plant in a semi-shaded position such as beneath deciduous trees. Suits all soil types apart from waterlogged and tolerant of coastal conditions. Used to best effect when left to multiply in large drifts. Cut back spent flower stems in late Autumn and propagate by division in early spring.
