Youngju Korean Homi

New to Diggers

A true Korean Youngju Homi hand-forged by master blacksmith (Seok No-Ki), this Korean hand hoe (plough) is forged from spring steel and features a hazelwood handle. Used for opening the soil as well as myriad other gardening tasks, the homi was first constructed over 5,000 years ago during the Bronze Age, and is still as popular today. Pronounced 'hoe-mee', meaning 'little ground spear', this versatile tool is generally used as an extension of the hand for all manner of tasks from digging and planting, to weeding and seed sowing. Made in Korea.
