Scleranthus biflorus 'Lime Lava'
Lime Lava is a unique, bright green ground cover which forms sculptural mounds of dense, cushion-like foliage and produces delicate white flowers. Lime Lava makes for stunning feature in the garden when planted en masse as a mat forming groundcover.
Best in full sun with regular moisture, and will also do well in partial shade. Suits sandy or well drained soil. Will tolerate dry spells and frost. Works well as a lawn substitute in light traffic areas. Fungus can cause brown patches, which can be remedied with a good fungicide watered onto the plant.
