Rheum x hybridum 'Winter Wonder'Popular in Melbourne Farmer's Markets, this cold tolerant variety glows red during the cool winter months when other rhubarbs are ready to be cut back. Stems glow greenish in summer and red in winter. Ideal for extending your season and rhubarb harvest.

Rhubarb 'Winter Wonder' Crown
Tolerant of frost and even snow, 'Winter Wonder' is a cold hardy rhubarb. Plant in a soil enriched with compost and well-rotted manure. Harvest stems by jerking the stem quickly to the side, tearing the stems off at the base of the plant. Never cut the stems using a knife. Remove any old or dead stems as required.
