Managing Queensland Fruit Fly in Home Gardens
Diggers Guests | Members Webinar SeriesAbout this experience
As the Queensland fruit fly (QFF) range increases it affects more home gardeners. Gardeners must upskill to prevent infestations. Factors contributing to the spread of QFF involve an increase of fruit movement with less checkpoint reinforcements combined with an increased chance of survival once it lands in a new location. QFF seem to be increasingly tolerant of cooler climate conditions.
Bronwyn will take us through prevention and management techniques so that you have a better chance of controlling QFF in your garden.
