Primula 'Red Hot Poker'
Also known as Vial's Primrose or the Chinese Pagoda Primrose, this water-loving primula from southern China thrives in a cool moist climate. The lilac flowers open from red buds creating a striking two tone effect, making it a standout in the spring garden.
Plant in full sun or part shade in an enriched moist, but free-draining soil. Water regularly. Cut back after flowering. Divide, if necessary, in spring.
