Parsley 'Continental'

Petroselinum crispum var. neapolitanum

A flat-leaf Italian-style parsley with highly-aromatic leaves and a fuller flavour than the traditional curly-leaf varieties. Popular in Mediterranean cooking and in vibrant sauces like chimichurri. This is the variety to grow if you wish to dry your own herbs.

Parsley 'Continental'

Parsley is a biennial herb which is an excellent source of colour, flavour and iron. Easy to grow once established, parsley is a staple of the kitchen garden, and has found culinary and horticulture popularity that sees parsley used for much more, these days, than a simple garnish.

How to grow

Sow seed direct in full sun in a soil enriched with organic matter. A heavy-feeder, improve soil with aged manure and decomposed compost prior to sowing. Soak seed to improve germination and avoid transplanting as this can cause root damage. Protect from snails and slugs while young.
