Golden Spider Lily (3 Bulbs)
Native to China, Golden Spider lily was shared with the rest of the world from 1777. Reportedly named for Mark Antony's Mistress because of their beauty, this intriguing bulb is suitable for gardens and pots and makes a lovely cut flower too.
Golden spider lily prefer a site in full sun or part shade. Plant in a free-draining soil enriched with aged compost and manure. Position bulbs with their neck just above soil level. Space bulbs 10cm apart and plant in swathes for maximum impact. Also suited to pots and containers. Allow soil to dry in summer to encourage maximum flowering. Avoid transplanting if possible to encourage improved flowering.
