Kniphofia uvariaKniphofia 'Winter Cheer' is a vivid splash of colour in the winter garden when little else is in bloom. Its broad strappy foliage develops into a sizeable clump around 50cm tall. In the middle of Winter stiff upright, bright orange-red torches emerge and glow in the gloomy winter days. Attracts birds to the garden.

How to grow
Best grown in full sun to partial shade in moist but well-drained soil. Kniphofias will tolerate drier soils but will flower their best with adequate moisture. Both heat and frost tolerant.
