Iresine Herbstii
Collected from Heronswood garden under the big Moreton Bay fig. This vibrant perennial with burgundy foliage brightens any shade area in your garden. Native to Brazil it leaves are rich crimson with pink veins. Purely selected for its foliage and also a great indoor plant.
Prefers rich well composted soil in a protected position away from cold winds. Thrives in warmer climates. Part shade and loves some summer sun protection. Prune once a year to keep good form and shape. Permanant garden plant in warmer sub tropic climates
