Double rows of white petals are highlighted with painterly shades of dark pink. The variability of the flowers is one of the most desirable features of this lovely winter rose.
Hellebores are resilient garden plants and are best grown in the ground. Plant in part shade and water regularly during dry periods and establishment. Remove old foliage when new growth appears in autumn. Apply a mulch of well-rotted manure or quality compost at this time too. Watch for aphids and spray if necessary. Deadhead spent flowers to encourage increased flowering.
