Gas Flame Wand

Kill weeds without chemicals using this lightweight flame wand with its auto-ignition. Ideal for killing all weeds in gravel or paved paths, patios and garden beds, the flame burns weeds at a safe distance, eliminating the need to use nasty chemicals that will poison your soils. Our gardeners use this method to control weeds at our organically certified gardens to great effect. Gas cartridges are easily available at any hardware store for around $14 each and each will last for hours. You only need to just cause the weed to 'collapse', not totally 'burn' for a more economic control. To use: Hold the Flame over the top of the weed and wait until the leaves start to turn upwards, then move onto the next weed. You do not have to completely burn the weed to kill it.
