Garlic - New Zealand Red (2 Heads)
New Zealand garlic rates high in quality and has a strong taste. The hard Winters and long Summers makes it ideal for growing garlic boasting the best quality.
Planting tips: Break the head into individual cloves and plant them pointy end up, about 7cm apart in a well-prepared bed. Cover with 2–7cm of soil (deeper in warmer climates, shallower in cooler climates) and mulch to prevent weeds competing with your bulbs. A slow-growing crop, allocate garden room for at least 6–9 months. Water when required or during periods of drought while actively growing. Harvest when tops die down. Dry and store.
