They were eventually planted in Holland and their name was changed to Dutch iris and their popularity has grown from there. Dutch Iris are known for their colourful and elegant blooms in shades of blue, yellow, purple, and white. They are native to the Mediterranean and are popular because they are easy to grow, require minimal maintenance, and reliably flower year after year in late spring to early summer. Suitable for use in garden beds, borders, and cut-flower arrangements. Dutch Iris are a reliable, low-maintenance and long-lasting addition to any garden or landscape.
